Why Kickers footwear stands out: heritage, construction and comfort

Kickers originated in France in 1970 with a shoe concept designed for the blue-jean generation. The original design combined nubuck, natural-rubber soles, contrast stitching, denim-inspired panels and distinctive eyelets. The Kick Hi followed five years later and became closely associated with British youth and music culture.

Modern Kickers continues that visual identity while adding practical footwear technologies. Selected models use Ultra Hybrid Ortholite insocks for lightweight cushioning, while children's styles can include Easyon-Off fastening and scuff-focused constructions. The Tovni Lacer, for example, uses a flexible low-profile rubber outsole and durable matte leather.

School shoes and everyday Kickers for different needs

Kickers UK caters to several distinct shopping needs rather than focusing only on fashion footwear. Parents can choose from primary and secondary school shoes, easy-fastening designs, scuff-resistant options, trainers and classic Kick Hi or Kick Lo styles. Adult shoppers can choose between heritage silhouettes such as Kick Hi, contemporary Tovni trainers and casual footwear such as Kick Mule.

The Tovni Lacer is particularly versatile for shoppers looking for a shoe that combines a sporty appearance with a school-appropriate low profile, while the Kick Hi range retains the taller boot-like silhouette associated with the brand.
