To enhance security, Pedro Shoes does not store any credit/debit card information. All information is transacted securely to CyberSource or PayPal, the store's payment gateway providers.

Furthermore, Pedro Shoes prides itself on keeping your payment details secure:

• All credit card information is securely encrypted and stored with the payment gateway Cybersource.
• The website is PCI compliant with sophisticated fraud prevention tools and fraud prevention specialists monitoring transactions.
• The option to remove stored credit cards under 'My Account Overview' in 'My Saved Cards' is available at your convenience.

Paypal is also offered for those who seek faster, safer, and easier checkouts, without revealing personal financial information. It allows for sign-up via the official www.paypal.com website.

When a payment is processed, authorisation is typically required, which may involve entering a PIN or completing another form of verification.

If your payment is declined, Pedro Shoes recommends placing a new order and ensuring that all card details are entered correctly. If the issue persists, contacting your bank for verification or trying an alternative payment method is advised.

For payments made with a debit card, you may notice two records on your bank statement: authorisation and settlement. However, this does not mean that you have been charged twice; this is a standard practice of showing the payment process.

Additional charges on your credit card bill may be applied by your issuing bank for overseas usage, not by Pedro Shoes. Contacting your financial institution for clarification on these charges is recommended.

Ensuring online shopping security, the store takes several measures:

• Implementation of Online Security Fraud screening as a preventative measure against credit card and PayPal fraud transactions.
• Encouragement for customers to protect their credit card details. Only the first 6 and the last 4 digits should be visible when submitting documents for verification.
• Submitted personal information is kept secure and confidential, with access rights limited to authorized personnel only.

Moreover, customers' interests and the store's security are further safeguarded by rigorous online security processes in line with industry best practices.
