Red Rat - how to complete a complaint and make a return?

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Products purchased either through the website or via phone can be exchanged if they are in original condition and within 30 days of receiving shipping confirmation. Certain items such as face masks, socks, and underwear are ineligible for return or exchange unless found to be faulty. Exchanges are subject to stock availability and may be made at any of the 13 stores nationwide or through the distribution centre. Should the exchange be due to a product fault, photos for verification might be requested. For exchanges processed via the distribution centre, it is important to call or email first to register the exchange, include the original invoice and a note of the desired size or product when sending back the item. Sending items back for exchange will generally be at the customer’s expense unless otherwise advised, and refunds on original freight fees are discretionary. Clearance items are final sales and not subject to the normal returns policy, with the exception of receiving a faulty product.

For returns, the same conditions apply as exchanges, with a full refund available if the return is initiated within 30 days of receiving shipping confirmation and if items are in their original state. The process of returning items to the distribution centre is similar to exchanges, in which contact must first be made to register the return and, if due to a fault, photo evidence may be required. The customer is commonly responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise indicated, and the original shipping fee refund is also at the discretion of Red Rat. A tracked courier service for returns is recommended.
