How to return purchases in COSME DE?

Returns and Refund Policy Overview

At COSME DE, the satisfaction of customers is a priority, backed by a 100% 30-day money back guarantee on product purchases. If the purchase does not satisfy, returning the products within 30 days of the dispatch date (as indicated in the order dispatch notification email) can lead to a full refund. Prior to returning, obtaining a return order number and following the return procedures is required by contacting through the Contact Us page. The inclusion of the delivery note with the return is requested. A 50% handling fee of the total order value is charged if return is made without prior notice. Returns are subject to conditions where products must remain unopened, and certain items are non-returnable, which includes opened, broken, discount, special, promotion, bundle, last chance, outlet items, and products marked as non-refundable/exchangeable. Returns beyond the 30-day period are not eligible. The refund will be processed to the original payment account, and the cost of return shipping is not covered by COSME DE. Each order is eligible for a single return, requiring all goods to be returned in the same package.

Exchange Policy

COSME DE does not offer exchanges. If a different item is required, the existing item must be returned for a refund following the guidelines in the Returning an item section and a new order should be placed. All costs associated with the return shipping for the exchange process will not be borne by COSME DE.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

• For leaked or damaged products, retaining the delivery box and all packing materials is essential.
• Information such as pictures of the parcel box, inner box to inspect bubble wrap/inflatable packaging, and pictures of the damaged product with the QR Code label on the product should be provided for follow-up.

To address incidents where incorrect items are received, returning the item in resalable condition along with the original delivery note is required. The correct item will be shipped after the return is processed. Contacting through the Contact Us page for return order number and procedures before shipping back the incorrect item is necessary.

Refund Specifics

• All items must be unopened for a refund.
• The refund process may take up to four weeks, crediting the original payment account.
• For cash-on-delivery transactions, refunds are issued as an online redeemable cash coupon, with the handling fee for Cash on Delivery service being non-refundable under any circumstances.
• In cases of incorrect address leading to undeliverable orders, or orders refused due to duty & tax, there are specific charges applicable. Details can be found under the Undeliverable Package section.
• If orders are suspected to be lost, contact must be made within 60 days for follow up, as specified in the Lost Shipment section.

COSME DE reserves the right to final decision in case of any disputes.

This will include order details (such as order number and order date), item details (including item price), as well as shipping and billing information. If the confirmation e-mail is not received or an error occurs during the last step of checkout, it is advised to check the Order History under My Account before placing the order again to avoid duplication. It is recommended to check with the credit card issuer before making a purchase to inquire if any fees apply. By placing an order, customers are presumed to have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Furthermore, additional delivery charges may apply to remote areas, which will be indicated on the shopping cart page. For weight restrictions, each order must remain below 3 kg due to courier limitations.

Undeliverable Package

If an order is undeliverable or has failed delivery attempts, contact with the customer will be initiated to resolve the issue. A partial refund might be processed under certain circumstances, such as incorrect address information, failed delivery attempts, or refusal by the recipient to pay duties and taxes. COSME DE reserves the right to make the final determination regarding disputes.

Lost Shipment

A tracking number is provided for each shipment, accessible via the dispatch notification email or the order history in the customer's account. If an order has not arrived within two weeks after the expected delivery date, customers are advised to check with their local post office. Should the shipment still be missing, a report can be made through the Contact Us page, and the matter will be investigated with Hong Kong Post.
