Returns by mail are processed for items that were purchased online or shipped to the customer's home only, as in-store purchases cannot be mailed for a refund.

• Refunds:

  Refunds for in-store returns are given in cash for merchandise purchased with cash or check, provided the customer has a receipt. Credit/debit card refunds are credited back to the original card. For mail returns, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days upon receiving the return. The refund may take an additional 2-10 business days to post to the customer's account depending on the credit card company. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping must be paid by the customer.

• Exchanges:

  Exchanges can only be made in Famous Footwear stores and are not available via mail.
