KidZania is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is an indoor learning centre with a family theme and it has won awards for offering interactive learning to children. At KidZania, children can go through an experience in role plays. The learning centre was established in 2012. The whole centre is run like a city which is controlled by kids.
Malaysian Ringgits are not used in KidZania. The currency in use is KidZos. All transactions in this establishment have to be done through this currency. Children have to earn the currency while they work at any section of the establishment and they have to pay for items or services that they use here. When the kids register, they are given 50 KidZos to begin with. They have to decide whether they need cash or credit within this KidZania nation. There is a bank provided by KidZania to help the children save their money and make transactions through requests by their debit cards once they open their savings account.
The management of KidZania values the security of all families that visit their learning centre. Stringent measures of security are observed. They include RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) bracelets. Visitors have to wear the bracelets. They have an antenna with radio frequency and an identity chip that is installed to be worn by individuals. Staff members only can have the bracelets removed through a special system and after gaining authorization from parents or accompanying guardians. Another security measure is organised access. There is one entrance only and one exit for access to this park and that excludes school group exits and fire exits which are controlled by fully trained security officers at KidZania.
There is a Special City Pass that is valid from 23 May 2017 to 31 July 2017. This is a dual park admission ticket that enables guests to buy passes on the site only at KidZania Kula Lumpur and at KidZania Singapore.
There are discount codes available for KidZ & Tech 2.0 Event that is being held between 16 May 2017 and 24 June 2017. This is a technology exhibition for kids enjoying their school holidays. They can book their tickets in advance and get 40% discount when visiting the ticketing site and feeding the Promo Code KZKT40.
Another event is the Astro Circle Promotion that is being held between 1 May 2017 and 24 June 2017. This event offers 30% discount on the admission tickets and it is valid only for walk-in purchases.
