Jean Dousset – Detailed Company Description

Jean Dousset is a luxury fine jewelry brand specializing in designer lab-grown diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry. Founded by Jean Dousset, the great-great-grandson of Louis Cartier, the company combines traditional high-jewelry craftsmanship with modern, ethically sourced lab-grown diamonds. The brand is headquartered in Los Angeles and operates a direct-to-consumer business through its website and private showrooms.

Jean Dousset positions itself as a premium alternative to traditional diamond jewelers, focusing exclusively on high-quality lab-grown diamonds rather than mined diamonds. The company states that it hand-selects only the top 0.1% of available lab-grown diamonds and uses Type IIa diamonds known for exceptional purity, brilliance, and optical transparency.
